Ever dreamed of having your own username on DDYC.co.uk? Your very own passport to be able to post comments on articles?

Didn't think so - but as the Diocese once encouraged us all to do from 2000 - 2005... 'think again!'

The advantages of owning your own account on DDYC.co.uk means you can edit comments you post online. This is especially useful if you notice mistakes in what you have just posted - or indeed, decide it's a load of rubbish and want to delete it immediately! This is handy!

You will also be automatically put on our database of people to email, but don't worry about junk mail - we don't even send out regular email, but if we ever do, you will be first in line to receive emails. Also you will be entered into our wonderful competitions to win trips to America, Dubai and the Med...

As is usual in DDYC, one of the above claims is false - and it's not the ability to edit comments or go onto our email list...

So if you want to post on the discussions under some articles, sign up - it could save a red face in the future - cos once you hit send, you can't edit those comments. Don't think this is some ploy though, the web site guy simply can't figure out how to turn this function on for unregistered posters - it's really as simple as that!
